You are invited to 51 Walden on Friday, March 20 to hear the talented principal singers from Opera51 in an enjoyable and wide-ranging evening of opera favorites, including some of the most famous numbers from the upcoming June 2020 production of Puccini's masterpiece Turandot.  

The evening is a fundraiser to defray costs of mounting Opera51's June performances of Turandot.  Opera51 is a volunteer group that gives all net proceeds to 51 Walden's operating expenses, and has provided significant funds to 51 Walden over the past thirteen years..

Enjoy hors d'oeuvres and drinks starting at 7 p.m. courtesy of the 51 Walden Board before the program begins at 7:30.  Videos of past Opera51 performances will be on display in the lobby as well.

In between the performance halves our favorite musicologist Laura Prichard will give one of her widely acclaimed talks, this time about the intricacies of Turandot. She's certain to enhance your appreciation of the opera in June.
